We love garage conversions! They are a relatively straightforward way to extend your living area, creating minimum disruption and utilising otherwise redundant space to create a functioning room to meet your needs. Previous clients have converted their garages into an additional living room, playroom, extra kitchen space, utility/boot room, home office, cloakroom, bathroom/wet room, easily accessible bedroom – the options are endless.
We have undertaken countless garage conversions and are more than happy to share our experience and expertise with you in this regard.
What's the process?
- Most garage conversions will fall under permitted development in relation to planning permission but it’s worth checking with your Local Authority as a first step
- Get in touch with us to arrange for us to visit your property and discuss your project. We can work with you to design your space and ensure that it complies with Building Regulations (which will be applicable to your conversion works). We will even submit your Building Notice on your behalf if you would like us to!
- Once we have agreed the design and full scope of works with you we will provide you with a fully costed quote
- We would be delighted if you decide to appoint us to work with you to make your project a reality!
- We can then agree a timeframe, project schedule and contract/agreement – this helps us formalise scope of works, timescales and payment timetable amongst other things
- From Day 1 of your project we will be in regular contact, keeping you updated on progress, providing guidance and working with you to make decisions along the way
